2015/16 “MPF 360 Marketing Challenge” for Students of Tertiary Institutions

To enhance knowledge of students of tertiary institutions on the MPF System and MPF investment, as well as to promote the benefits of having an early start on retirement planning, the MPFA has joined hands with Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET) to organize the MPF 360 Marketing Challenge for Students of Tertiary Institutions 2015/16. Participants are encouraged to make use of their creativity and marketing strategies to disseminate MPF messages to their peers and members of the general public through a variety of online social media platforms and on-campus event. The programme has three components:
  1. On-campus roving activities
On-campus roving activities will be held in various local tertiary institutions commencing late October 2015 (Time: 11:30am - 5:30pm), to disseminate MPF messages and to encourage the students to join the Competition.

  1. Briefing Session
The competition will be kicked off by a briefing session on 28 November 2015 to provide participants with the details of the competition and knowledge about the MPF, financial management, social media marketing planning and production of video through sharing with social media marketing experts, movie producer and MPFA representatives.
Company visit will also be arranged for all participants, to expose them to the real-world operation of the marketing and social media industry.
  1. MPF 360 Marketing Challenge
The selected teams will be required to complete three #MPF360Missions to promote MPF messages through social media platforms and on-campus events, in order to unfold their creativity and execute their marketing strategies.
Outstanding teams which accomplish the three #MPF360Missions are eligible for the following awards:

MPF 360 Marketer Awards
Champion (1 team) $20,000 scholarship and a summer internship opportunity at the MPFA/HKET
1st Runner-up (1 team) $5,000 scholarship and MPFA Student Ambassador qualification
2nd Runner-up (1 team) $5,000 scholarship and MPFA Student Ambassador qualification

#MPF360Missions Awards
Best Video Producer Award (1 team) $2,000 scholarship
Best Event Organizer Award (1 team) $2,000 scholarship
Best Facebook Manager Award (1 team) $2,000 scholarship

Teams that submit their work on schedule and completed the three #MPF360Missions are eligible for a production allowance.
Interested students of tertiary institutions are invited to enrol on the programme website on or before 20 November 2015.
