MPF Intermediaries

Types of Registered Intermediaries

The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance stipulates that no person shall, in the course of carrying on a business or his employment, engage in any regulated MPF sales and marketing activities, or hold himself out as doing so, unless the person is registered with MPFA (and the registration is not suspended) or is exempted from registration.

There are 2 types of MPF intermediary, namely, principal intermediary and subsidiary intermediary. You can check whether a person is registered with MPFA via the Register of MPF Intermediaries.
