Transaction of Funds

There are a number of steps you need to consider when buying units in MPF funds:

Checking for fund prices

Except for employer sponsored schemes, trustees are required to publish the latest unit bid/offer price or unit NAV of constituent funds at least once a month in at least one leading English language and one leading Chinese language daily newspaper in Hong Kong.

Most trustees publish their fund prices or values more frequently than the minimum requirement, typically weekly or even daily. In addition, many trustees also make use of electronic information platforms, such as the Internet, to publish fund prices or values.

Employers who offer employer sponsored schemes usually have their own internal communication platform to distribute information about fund prices or values.
