"Population Ageing and Us"

To encourage students to take an interest in the MPF System and the social issues on the ageing population, the MPFA has jointly organised a "Population Ageing and Us" Inter-school Webpage Design Contest with the Elderly Commission and Sing Tao Daily. The contest provided the opportunity for participants to develop team work and a proactive learning attitude.
Students at Form 1 to 3 were invited to participate. Under the guidance of a team leader and a subject teacher, participating teams were required to submit a webpage design and a report for assessment. Chaired by the Hon. Tam Yiu-chung, Chairman of the Elderly Commission, the Judging Panel comprised Professor Iris Chi, Committee Member of the Elderly Commission; Ms. Kandy C.K. Cheung, Deputy Chief Editor of Sing Tao Daily; Mr. Lee Kai-man, Founding Member of the Hong Kong Senior IT Advocates; and Mr. Ernest Lee, Executive Director of the MPFA.
