Lodging an appeal on the eligibility for the injection

An individual may lodge a request for review ("the review") of his/her eligibility with the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority ("the Authority") if he/she claims to be eligible but has not received the injection. The Authority will conduct investigation for the review and give a written notification to the requester on the review decision. If the requester is not satisfied with the review decision, he/she may lodge an appeal by submitting a Notice of Appeal to the Authority to further review the case within three weeks from the date the Authority sends the review notification. The appeal will be handled by an Appeal Panel comprising non-executive directors of the Authority and a chairman independent of the Management Board of the Authority.

The Appeal Panel will review the appeal having regard to all of the information provided by the appellant and the findings of the Authority's investigation.  The appellant will be notified of the Appeal Decision in writing.
