Under section 8(1)(b) of Schedule 1 to the Regulation, any investments in ITCISs by constituent funds that also make direct investments are subject to the general spread requirement set forth under section 2, in particular section 2(1) that limits the total amount invested in securities and other permissible investments issued by any one person to not more than 10% of the total funds of a constituent fund.
