Welcome to the website of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA). The Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) has an important role to play in contributing towards the financial security of Hong Kong's working population in their retirement years. Not only is Hong Kong's population ageing (28 percent will be over 65 by the year 2039) but people are living longer, and looking forward to longer periods in retirement. The MPF System is a vital part of a three-pillar approach to retirement support in Hong Kong, alongside a social security safety net, and voluntary savings and insurance.
We've designed our website to make it easy to use, and for you to quickly find the information you need. Please contact the MPFA if in doubt of caller's identity The MPFA has received enquiries from members of the public who have been called by somebody claiming to be MPFA staff. The callers also asked for responding a survey or the personal information of the members concerned. The MPFA reminds the public that the Authority will not designate its staff to conduct survey to collect scheme members' personal information. Please contact the MPFA Hotline at 2918 0102 if you are in doubt of the identity of callers. |
