Access to Information

MPFA recognizes the need for the community to be well informed about MPFA, the services it provides, and the MPF System. The MPFA Code on Access to Information defines the scope of information that will be provided to the general public, sets out how the information will be made available either routinely or in response to a request, and lays down procedures governing its prompt release.

MPFA has designated an Access to Information Officer to be responsible for ensuring that requests made under the Code are properly handled in accordance with the requirements of the Code.

Requests for information held by MPFA may be made verbally or in writing (preferably by completing the application form). The requests should be addressed to:

Fees may be charged to cover the cost of providing the requested information, such as photocopying fee, material cost and postage. The information will not be released until the requisite payment has been made.
