Contribution Day for March
According to the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance, the contribution day for monthly-paid employees is the 10th day of each month. Employers are reminded to act early to avoid delay in making contributions, owing to the public holidays on 1 and 4 April 2024.
Apart from directly making contributions and submitting the remittance statement to their trustees, employers are encouraged to make use of various digital means to handle MPF contributions in a timely manner. Late payment will be subject to a surcharge.
