Investment Guide for MPF Scheme Members
The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) has published an "Investment Guide for MPF Scheme Members" that provides useful information on MPF investments for the public.
The Investment Guide cover types and characteristics of constituent funds commonly found in MPF schemes, the seven major considerations for prudent investment, calculation of the Net Asset Value, as well as the definition and operation of a guarantee fund. The Guide also includes an MPF Investment Flow Chart to help scheme members make investment decisions that best suit their needs.
From tomorrow onwards, the Chinese version of the Investment Guide is available for public collection at public enquiry service centres of the Home Affairs Department and offices of the Labour Department.
Full text of the guidebook can also be downloaded from the MPFA website at www.mpfahk.org. For further enquiries, please call the MPFA Hotline at 2918 0102. English version of the Investment Guide will be available shortly.
