eMPF Fleet to Promote Registration Across All Districts

To support the final and largest phase of eMPF onboarding (eMPF), eMPF Platform Company Limited (eMPF Company) today (15 October) launched the eMPF fleet. It will travel across all 18 districts of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, providing employees with assistance to enhance their understanding of and register with eMPF.

Accompanied by the MPFA and eMPF Company teams, MPFA and eMPF Company Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau officiated at the launch of the eMPF fleet. Mrs Lau said, “We have spared no effort in promoting eMPF – including sending outreach teams to employers’ workplaces to help employers and human resources personnel familiarize with the eMPF functions. With more and more MPF schemes onboarded eMPF, we are taking it one step further with the rollout of the eMPF fleet, which will explain the registration procedure and provide support services directly to the employees across the territory. Together with the three existing eMPF service centres, as well as the eMPF kiosks located in 12 telecommunications stores operated by the contractor and six sports centres operated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, we are further strengthening our network to provide support in every district.”

The eMPF fleet will gradually increase to a total of 10 vehicles which will display the latest information, promotional videos and user guides for eMPF. They are also equipped with electronic devices to help employees register with eMPF on-site with the assistance of eMPF ambassadors who will also answer enquiries about eMPF.

Starting today, the eMPF fleet will rove around all 18 districts of Hong Kong to provide service. When the MPF Industry Schemes get onboard eMPF early next year, the fleet will also visit workplaces of Industry Scheme members, including construction sites and areas with a large number of catering outlets, to offer on-site registration and answer enquiries.

Details of the schedule, locations and service hours of the eMPF fleet are available on the eMPF website.
