Video series Walking Together on the MPF Journey features real-life MPF stories

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) System, which was launched at the end of 2000. To enhance public knowledge and recognition of the MPF System, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) has produced a new video series, entitled Walking Together on the MPF Journey, featuring real-life stories of four people from different sectors, sharing their personal MPF stories.

The video series, produced in the form of a real-life documentary, consists of four episodes, featuring MPF scheme members of different ages and in different occupations. They are a veteran dim-sum chef, a self-employed construction worker, a post-80s working adult, and a partner in a medium-sized enterprise.

The four scheme members tell the audience how they feel about the MPF and share their personal stories, explaining how the MPF and the MPFA have assisted them or their staff in preparing for retirement, and the role the MPFA plays in protecting scheme members’ MPF rights.

The videos have two versions, one 30 seconds and the other about one minute. For about a month from today (8 June), the abridged versions will be broadcast on TV, while the full versions will be shown on buses and MTR trains. Both versions of the four videos are now available on the MPFA website and YouTube.
