MPFA consults representatives of SMEs on the user interface mock-up of the eMPF Platform (29 December 2021)

MPFA Acting Managing Director Mr Cheng Yan-chee led a team of MPFA colleagues to meet with the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee (SMEC), an advisory body under the Trade and Industry Department today (29 Dec) introduced the front-end portal design of the eMPF Platform and sought the views of participants on the platform design so as to make sure that the Platform will meet their needs when it is launched in 2023.

During the meeting, participating SME representatives were briefed on the various functions of the Platform, including the contribution day alert, contribution calculator and provision of e-payment tools which would bring about enormous benefits to employers. Mr Cheng believed that upon the launch of eMPF Platform, employers could manage their MPF anytime and anywhere via electronic devices, which is expected to substantially reduce the operational cost.

Mr Cheng added that the MPFA would be organizing a series of consultation sessions in the coming six months to solicit views from stakeholders and future users on the user interface design of the eMPF Platform.
