MPFA Chairman exchanges views with MPF intermediaries via video conferencing (17 January 2022)

MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau met with representatives of the Professional Insurance Brokers Association (PIBA) today (17 Jan) via video conferencing with a view to listening to MPF intermediaries’ views and suggestions on the MPF System, in particular the eMPF Platform project.

During the online meeting, Mrs Lau emphasized that intermediaries were important stakeholders of the MPF System and partners of MPFA in promoting retirement planning and MPF to members of the public. She appreciated PIBA’s continuous efforts in supporting the work of MPFA. She added MPFA would arrange consultation sessions with the industry on the front-end portal of the eMPF Platform in due course. She also hoped that the industry could make use of the eMPF Platform in providing valuable services to scheme members and employers and helping them adapt to the new era of the MPF System.
