MPFA Chairman exchanges views with LegCo Members (8 February 2022)

 

MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau met with LegCo Members from the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) and the textiles and garment functional constituency on 8 February 2022 to review the investment performance of the MPF System in 2021, outline the latest progress of the eMPF Platform project and the primary work foci of the MPFA in 2022.

 

 

At the meeting, Mrs Lau introduced the MPFA’s efforts in protecting scheme members’ interests through law enforcement, enhancing MPF investment in 2022, and the plan to review the minimum and maximum relevant income levels for mandatory contributions according to statutory requirements this year. Mrs Lau also took the opportunity to listen to the views of the Members on the MPF System on various fronts. 

 

 

Mrs Lau said the MPFA had been active in liaising with various political parties with a view to tapping their wisdom for enhancing the protection of Hong Kong’s working population.
