The eMPF Platform will bring about substantial benefits to both employers and employees (29 September 2022)

 

MPFA Acting Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Hui spoke at a panel earlier (29 Sep) sharing about the objectives, functions and benefits to be brought about by the eMPF Platform. The forum was attended by about 500 HR practitioners and corporate senior executives.

 

 

 

 

Ms Hui said that currently MPF administration was operated under a highly decentralized mode among different MPF trustees. Following the full launch of the eMPF Platform   where the MPF administration processes would be streamlined, standardized and automated, employers and scheme members could manage their MPF under different schemes anytime and anywhere, thereby substantially saving operational costs and enhancing user experience.

 

 

 

 

 

Ms Hui added that the eMPF Platform Company and the project contractor had organized a number of briefings for payroll software providers and HR practitioners on how HR systems and payroll software solutions could integrate with the eMPF Platform, with a view to ensuring a smooth transition to the Platform for all users.
