MPFA conducts inspection at a construction site to inquire about MPF contribution status (28 Oct 2022)
Upon learning that a subcontractor of a construction project in Fanling was accused of defaulting on wages, MPFA’s Member Protection and Services Division took swift action to conduct a site inspection last Friday (October 28) and met with representatives of the main contractor, and obtained information for further investigation on whether there are defaulted MPF contributions.
The MPFA would also check with MPF trustees on the MPF contribution status in order to assist affected employees as soon as possible. We appeal to affected employees to contact the MPFA immediately via the hotline 2918 0102 or email (mpfa@mpfa.org.hk).
