MPFA Chairman continues to exchange with grassroots scheme members in Sham Shui Po on MPF (6 August 2023)
With a view to listening to the views of the grassroots workers, MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau yesterday (6 Aug) attended an outreach in Sham Shui Po again and met with about 150 MPF scheme members from the neighbourhood. At the event, Mrs Lau and MPFA representatives listened to the views of the participants on the MPF System and retirement protection and shared the latest development of the eMPF Platform, Default Investment Strategy (DIS), and anti-fraud messages related to MPF.
Mrs Lau expressed that MPFA always attached great importance to the voices of the grassroots workers as MPF rights are particularly important for them. She sincerely thanked the participating grassroots scheme members for their valuable views and suggestions which had been properly recorded and followed up as appropriate with a view to further refining the MPF System.
Also attending the event were Chairman of Sham Shui Po Branch of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong Mr Samuel Chan Wai-ming, MPFA Director (Member Protection and Services) Mr Saxon Weng and General Manager (Enforcement) Ms Diana Lau.
