MPFA Chairman promotes MPF to trainees and staff of social enterprises and social welfare organizations (25 March 2024)

 

MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau and MPFA colleagues yesterday(25 Mar) met with the trainees and staff of social enterprises and social welfare organizations in an “Easter Handicraft Market” held in MPFA’s office in Kwun Tong to introduce the key features of Default Investment Strategy, share the latest development of the eMPF Platform and listen to their views on the MPF System and retirement protection.

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs Lau said that the eMPF Platform system is ready for use with the phased onboarding of MPF trustees to the eMPF platform would commence starting from June 2024, in ascending order of their assets-under-management (“AUM”) size, to ensure safe, secured and smooth migration of MPF account information. It is expected the whole migration process would be completed in 2025. The MPFA and the project team would launch marketing and education campaigns, collaborating with various stakeholders, to facilitate scheme members in using the Platform through a multi-pronged approach.

 

 

  

  

  

 

 

The Easter Handicraft Market was organized by the MPFA, featuring a dozen social enterprises and social welfare organizations, to sell products made by their trainees and staff with diverse talents so as to continue fulfilling social responsibilities and jointly promote social inclusion.
