MPFA promotes eMPF to civil servants (3 July 2025)

To support the promotion of and registration with the eMPF Platform (eMPF) among civil servants, the MPFA, with the support of the Civil Service Bureau, has launched a two-week exhibition at the Central Government Offices.

On 3 July, MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Lau attended the opening event of the exhibition, where senior Government officials including Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui, Permanent Secretary for Labour and Welfare Alice Lau, Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service Clement Leung, Deputy Commissioner for Digital Policy (Data Governance) Donald Mak, and staff-side representatives from four civil service central staff consultative councils also graced the event.

Mrs Lau said that eMPF, as the most significant reform of the MPF System, would reduce administrative fees, enhance investment returns, and provide a better MPF management experience. She called on civil servants to take the lead in embracing eMPF and help encourage its wider adoption among the public.

Christopher Hui said that eMPF has processed over 600,000 MPF administrative transactions. He looks forward to more citizens using eMPF so as to optimize its functions and advantages.

Clement Leung thanked MPFA for organizing the exhibition and arranging on-site registration with eMPF for civil servants.

Financial Secretary Paul Chan, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare Ho Kai Ming, and Under Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Clarence Leung have also visited the exhibition. The exhibition was well received by civil servants and many of them have completed registration with eMPF on-site.
