MPFA exchanges views on eMPF Platform with MPF intermediaries (30 July 2025)
MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau, together with representatives from the eMPF Company and the eMPF project contractor, met with a group of industry practitioners from the Hong Kong Insurance Practitioners General Union (HKIPGU) on 30 Jul, to listen to their views on the functions and user experience of the eMPF Platform (eMPF).
Lau thanked the HKIPGU for its interest and support to the eMPF. He highlighted that MPF intermediaries are key and close partners of both MPFA and the eMPF. MPFA has established a Standing User Group and has been organizing eMPF demonstration session with the dual aim of providing training and gathering user feedback on the eMPF from intermediaries. He welcomed members of the HKIPGU to actively participate in these opportunities to enhance their understanding of the Platform. Dedicated briefing sessions can also be arranged for members of HKIPGU.
He added that with the eMPF centralising all MPF administrative processes, MPF intermediaries will be better positioned to focus on delivering more comprehensive investment management and retirement planning services to their clients.
