Unlocking new opportunities for MPF intermediaries with the eMPF (18 September 2025)

MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau attended a meeting for around 300 MPF intermediaries hosted by an MPF trustee on 18 Sep, encouraging intermediaries to seize the opportunities brought by the eMPF to proactively explore new services that would benefit their clients in the new digital MPF era.

He said that the launch of the eMPF has streamlined MPF administration, making it more efficient and user-friendly. This transformation enables intermediaries to focus more on delivering high value-added services, such as professional wealth management and retirement planning, thereby helping clients to take a more proactive role in managing their retirement savings.

MPFA and the eMPF Platform Company will continue to work closely with trustees to provide more suiting support for intermediaries, helping them master the eMPF’s functionalities and become key partners for employers and scheme members in using the eMPF.
