MPFA and the industry join hands for the final phase of eMPF onboarding (18 September 2025)
MPFA Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Hui delivered a speech at the Annual Dinner of the Pension Schemes Association on 18 Sep, sharing with the MPF industry the latest updates on the eMPF Platform.
Cynthia highlighted that the eMPF has entered its final phase of onboarding in September, marking a significant milestone with the four largest MPF trustees joining the eMPF one by one. She expressed strong confidence in the successful transition and thanked the industry players for their unwavering support over the years.
She shared that the eMPF has so far recorded over 740,000 registered users, over 860,000 app downloads, and successfully processed more than 1.3 million transactions, of which around 60% were submitted through digital means. These figures reflected the positive response from employers and scheme members, as well as the successful progress of digitalisation.
She urged the industry to seize the launch of the eMPF as an opportunity to focus on delivering better returns and more value-for-money MPF products and services for scheme members.
