MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau attended an eMPF briefing organized by the Legislative Council Commission on 26 Sep, sharing various functions and benefits of the eMPF with around 100 LegCo staff members, including Ms Dora WAI Pik-yiu, Secretary General of the LegCo Secretariat. The eMPF Outreach Team also provided on-site registration assistance to participants, which was another on-site support arranged in the Legco Complex following a briefing for Legislative Council Members and employees of their offices and LegCo Secretariat held in June.

Lau said that scheme members only need to register for the eMPF once to enjoy lifetime access. The eMPF enables users to view all their MPF accounts at a glance and handle all administration processes electronically.  He also reminded participants that while the eMPF significantly enhances the convenience, MPF should be managed as a long-term investment. They are therefore advised not to change their MPF investment mandates or switch funds too frequently for short-term speculation.
