eMPF Platform – Encouraging employers to go digital with MPF administration (14 October 2025)
MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau attended a seminar organized by an MPF provider on 14 Oct, where he shared the latest developments of the eMPF Platform with employers.

Lau said that since the launch of the eMPF Platform over a year ago, it has significantly improved the efficiency of MPF administration. The economies of scale have exceeded expectations, with the latest estimates suggesting a higher reduction in administration fees of 57% to 65% over a 10-year period, achieving total saving of $40-$50 billion. He emphasised that the eMPF allows employers and scheme members to manage their MPF anytime, anywhere through mobile app or web portal, helping to save both time and manpower costs. As more users adopt digital MPF administration, the eMPF's operational efficiency will continue to grow, delivering even greater cost-saving benefits to scheme members.
