A new era of MPF (19 November 2025)
MPFA Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee delivered a keynote speech at an MPF-related forum on 19 November, sharing the achievements of MPF over the past 25 years and the roadmap for further reforms with over 200 participants from the MPF industry, as well as investment management and human resources sectors.
Cheng highlighted that protecting scheme members’ interests has guided MPFA through all past reforms, and will remain the priority for future enhancements and innovations in MPF. The high degree of integrity, robust regulation and sound governance of the MPF System have formed a solid foundation for MPF to continually mature into an even stronger pillar in Hong Kong’s retirement protection framework.
