MPFA shares the future developments of the MPF with the industry (29 January 2026)
MPFA Executive Director (Policy) Eric Cheng attended a seminar on the future of Hong Kong retirement and pension innovation on 29 January, where he shared the future developments of the MPF System with over 160 industry practitioners.
Cheng stated that the MPFA has been prioritizing the protection of scheme members’ interests. He emphasized that the MPFA will continue to uphold this principle and actively promote various reform measures to further enhance the MPF System, with a view to solidifying its role as an integral pillar in Hong Kong’s retirement protection framework and providing scheme members with better value-for-money MPFproducts.
