MPFA Meets with Legislative Council Members on 2026-27 Work Priorities (27 February 2026)
MPFA Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau led a team comprising, Managing Director Cheng Yan-chee, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau and eMPF Platform Company CEO Eric Lui, to meet online with various groups of Legislative Council Members last week to share and exchange on the key work priorities of MPFA for 2026-27, including the latest updates of the eMPF™, and various initiatives to further refine the MPF System.

The Legislative Council (LegCo) Members joining the meetings included representatives from G19, Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, Liberal Party, Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong, C15+, Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong*, as well as some independent LegCo Members.

Mrs Lau thanked the LegCo Members for their views and insights, and reaffirmed MPFA’s commitment to maintaining ongoing dialogue with legislators and various stakeholders with a view to further strengthening the retirement protection for the working population of Hong Kong.
* In the order of the meetings

On 23 February, MPFA met online with Hon Robert Lee Wai-wang, Hon Duncan Chiu, Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, Hon Tommy Chung Ki-fung and Hon Albert Chuang Ka-pun from G19.

On 23 February, MPFA met online with Hon Kingsley Wong Kwok, Hon Lee Kwong-yu and Hon Lam Wai-kong from the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions.

On 24 February, MPFA held online discussions with Hon Shiu Ka-fai, Ir Hon Lee Chun-keung, Hon Nick Chan Hiu-fung and Hon Jonathan Leung Chun from the Liberal Party.

On 24 February, MPFA held online meeting with independent LegCo Member Hon Alan Chan Chung-yee.

On 26 February, MPFA met with Ir Hon Aaron Bok Kwok-ming, Hon Ray Wong Wing-wai, and Hon Jonathan Stuart Lamport from the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong, together with the party’s Secretary-General Mr Benson Luk Hon-man.

On 26 February, MPFA met with Dr Hon Webster NG Kam-wah and Hon Ng Wun-kit from C15+.

On 27 February, MPFA met online with Hon Yiu Ming, Hon Hung Kam-in and Hon Chan Pok-chi from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong.
