MPFA shares latest eMPF developments with “Good MPF Employers” (12 May 2026)
MPFA Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Wallace Lau attended an event organised by a trustee to share the latest developments of the eMPFTM Platform with awardees of the The Good MPF Employer Award.

He said that all MPF schemes have successfully joined the eMPF, marking the full transition of MPF into a new digital era. As of end April, the Platform recorded over 2.1 million registered users and had processed more than 11 million transaction instructions, of which nearly 80% were submitted via digital means. With adoption continuing to grow, economy of scale is becoming increasingly evident, accelerating the pace of fee reductions. The administrative fee has been further reduced to 29 bps (0.29%), delivering direct benefits to scheme members. As more users adopt the digital interface, it is believed that the eMPF fee can be further reduced in future.

He also emphasized that enhancing service quality of the eMPF will be a key focus this year. Measures include extending service hours on Saturdays and introducing services on Sundays at service centres, increasing appointment quotas, and strengthening customer service manpower. MPFA will also collaborate with various organisations and district bodies to reach deeper into the community and provide enhanced support to the public, such as setting up eMPF Registration and Enquiry Booth at MTR stations.
