MPFA supports partnership between employers and employees for building “MPF for a better future” (4 June 2026)
MPFA Director (Policy and Regulation) Kent Yau recently attended a forum on employee benefits, and shared with around 150 human resources professionals and senior corporate managers regarding the developments of the MPF System and the eMPFTM Platform as well as how employers can support their employees in strengthening their retirement reserves.

Yau emphasized that employers and employees are integral stakeholders in the MPF System, and that their active participation is instrumental to its continuous development. He encouraged employers to take proactive steps to enhance their employees’ retirement well-being, such as making voluntary MPF contributions and taking the initiative to help employees understand the latest MPF information and arrange related activities, with a view to motivating them in accumulating more retirement savings. He would look forward to MPFA, employers and employees to continue working closely together to build up a win-win-win situation and “MPF for a better future”.
