MPFA Director (External Affairs), Jonathan Ho, recently attended an event organized by a MPF scheme trustee specifically for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). He shared the latest developments and main functions of the eMPF^TM Platform with employers and HR representatives of MSMEs, encouraging them to adopt the eMPF early and embrace the digital transformation.

He said that being one of the world's most comprehensive centralized electronic platforms for private pension administration, eMPF significantly enhances operational efficiency and user experience by standardizing, streamlining, and automating MPF scheme administration processes. At the same time, economies of scale achieved by eMPF have led to substantial fee reduction, bringing the MPF administration fee down by half to the current level of 0.29% (29 basis points), directly benefiting scheme members.

He added that the MPFA and the eMPF project team will continue to provide comprehensive support for employers and scheme members, including hosting free training workshops and offering outreach services, to help all stakeholders with smooth transition to the new digital era. At the event, representatives of the eMPF outreach team provided practical tips and quick support to participants.
