MPFA briefs Hong Kong Housing Society’s public works projects personnel on eMPF (14 August 2026)
Mr Felix Siu, Director (Corporate Services) of the MPFA, together with the eMPFTM Outreach Team, conducted an online briefing for the Contractor Labour Officers (CLOs) and Labour Relations Officers (LROs) involved in the Hong Kong Housing Society’s public works projects, to outline the latest operational arrangements on the eMPF.
Siu said that contractors previously had to obtain relevant MPF contribution records from trustees before passing them to the CLOs and LROs. With the launch of eMPF, contractors can now download the relevant records directly from eMPF, eliminating the need to go through trustees and making the process more straightforward and efficient. He urged CLOs and LROs to actively encourage contractors who have not yet registered to complete their eMPF registration as soon as possible, enabling them to benefit from the efficiency and convenience brought by eMPF.
