MPFA Chief Operating Officer Ms Cynthia Hui attended the virtual International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS) SupTech Workshop on 6 April, where she introduced the latest developments of the eMPF Platform and the use of SupTech solutions with more than 120 representatives of pension regulators from about 40 pension jurisdictions and international organisations, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Ms Hui shared the vision, latest developments and challenges of the eMPF Platform project, such as the scale, timeline and importance of data security and protection. She highlighted that the eMPF Platform, which is a pioneer in comprehensive scheme administration system for privately managed pension schemes around the world, will reshape the ecosystem of the MPF System and bring tremendous benefits for MPF scheme members and all stakeholders.  The centralized data provided by the platform will also enhance the supervisory efficiency of the MPFA.
