MPFA to resume normal public services

To make reference to the latest government work arrangements, the MPFA will resume normal public services from 2 March, while taking steps to safeguard the health of the public and its staff.

The MPFA’s public enquiry service and follow-up on complaint cases will return to normal via different digital channels, including email (mpfa@mpfa.org.hk), telephone enquiry hotline (2918 0102) and fax (2259 8806), during office hours from 8:45am to 5:45pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays). An MPFA spokesperson said that the public should use digital means more for making enquiries which would be more convenient. The customer service counters for general enquiries in the MPFA offices in Kwai Chung, Kwun Tong and Sheung Wan will remain closed to reduce social contact and protect the health of the public and MPFA staff.

The MPFA encourages employers and employees who would go out less during the epidemic to handle MPF matters through the digital services provided by their MPF trustees as well as the digital tools provided by the MPFA, including the e-Enquiry of Personal Account (ePA) platform and its mobile app, together with the one-stop MPF Fund Platform and its mobile app, to help manage their MPF.

Moreover, as the MPF contribution day for February’s contributions is on 10 March, the MPFA reminds employers to reserve sufficient time to make their contributions and encourages them to do it through digital means to avoid any delay and reduce social contact.

The MPFA will continue to closely monitor the situation and announce further service arrangements in due course.
